FAQs

Can Arlo run quantitative research?

Yes, Arlo runs quantitative surveys. Give it a business question, and Arlo will recommend a quantitative methodology where it's a good fit – or recommend alternatives where it isn't. Based on your objectives, it will then design the survey, manage fieldwork, and deliver final recommendations.

Can I recruit my own participants or B2B audiences

Yes to both. Arlo can use your own lists and recruit B2B audiences, with the strongest reach at specialist and mid-to-senior levels. For very senior roles, tell Arlo upfront and it'll flag what's achievable.

How does Arlo train its models?

Arlo pairs established AI models with human researchers' expertise on research methodology, analysis, and fieldwork experience. It doesn't train on your data: client data stays siloed to your own projects and is never fed back into model training.

How is client data processed?

Your data is encrypted and handled in line with GDPR. It's anonymised for analysis, never shared or sold, and never used to train Arlo's underlying models.

How much research expertise do you need to have to use Arlo?

None required. Arlo handles the methodology and design work, so first-time users can get a solid study running. Experienced researchers can go further, shaping the approach in more detail if they want to.

Which models does Arlo use?

Arlo runs on a combination of leading AI models, selected for each task, with research expertise built on top.

How is Arlo different from using ChatGPT/Claude?

ChatGPT and Claude are general-purpose assistants. You write the prompts, structure the study, and judge the output yourself. Arlo runs the research end to end: it recruits real participants, fields the study, and owns the analysis. You review the plan and the findings, but Arlo owns the work.

How do you ensure results are accurate with no hallucinations?

Arlo's analysis follows established research methods: transcripts are tagged first, then aggregated into themes, the way an experienced researcher would work. At each step the model shows its working, and every finding is validated against the raw survey and transcript data before it's written into a final report.

How does pricing work?

Arlo is priced around deployment, not seats — the volume of research you run and how far it reaches across your team. Tell us what you need and we'll scope a plan together.
